Farming First is a California-based cannabis cultivation company with five generations of farming experience across 1,400 acres in Los Alamos. Combining traditional agriculture with modern innovation, the company produces high-quality, sun-grown cannabis. MNML Chicago developed the brand identity along with three retail-ready cannabis brands tailored to different market segments.

One of these brands, Venterra Farms, emphasizes sustainable cultivation practices. The branding and packaging for its initial product range, including flowers, pre-rolls, and vape pens, draw on the landscape of the farm and its commitment to energy-efficient methods. Color palettes align with the effects of each product type: Sativa, Hybrid, and Indica.
